- Rated 5 out of 5by Arden, 2 years agoThis is a good extension and it does what I need it to with a minimum of fuss. It would be improved if the Maximize Player button wasn't hidden behind an options menu you need to hover over, though, or even possible to set up as automatic. It's basically why I'm even using this extension at all and making it easier and faster to turn on and off would be much more convenient.
edit: I am enjoying the new improvements to this. I wrote a new review, because I don't know if you'll be notified of changes to the old review, but it has been much better since the update. I would recommend renaming "video history" to something more informative, though. It took me a while to figure out where this annoying "continue video?" pop-under and shader were coming from. It is not what I thought it would do. Otherwise this is very good work.Developer response
posted 2 years agoThanks for your review! I plan on adding a setting for the video history that will allow for automatic resuming and also re-designing the resume confirmation to fit in with the player better.
Edit: version 1.22.0 includes automatic resume option - Rated 5 out of 5by –Phase–, 2 years agoPretty decent replacement for the Enhancer for Youtube extension that went down. I mainly only used that extension for its automatic theater mode and automatic quality adjustment feature, and this extension has those features as well so it works as a replacement in my case, at least until the original enhancer extension comes back, if it ever does. Thanks a lot to the developer for providing this extension.

Please add a Start Volume Option ;)
No matter which page you start a YouTube video on, it should start at volume 5, for example. If you want to watch a video in the evening or at night, it won't start at 100% and wake everyone up :)Developer response

Could you perhaps expand on the playback speed setting? Similar to the mouse wheel volume control, but with a modifier key to change playback speed in increments (not unlike a certain extension that has gone awol)?
cheers.
Edit: sent friend request, same name. Well, you already have the option in the volume control, as in "enable while holding modifier key".
So a user could have volume control set to right click + scroll wheel, and speed control set to ctrl + scroll wheel as an example.Developer response

I think I should be able to expand the playback speed setting like that. I'll look into it and edit my reply as to whether or not I can do it.
If you have discord feel free to add me 'vampirechicken' is my username on discord. We can talk about your suggestion and you can suggest more things if you want.
Edit 1: I haven't looked into this yet but I figured I'd reply to seek clarification did you mean click a keybind to increment and decrement the playback speed. - Rated 5 out of 5by Gwossbeet, 2 years agoHello, Thank you so much for this sooooo convenient extension,
in the "Playback speed settings" could you add more detailed speed in the "Playback buttons speed", such as 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 ? I like to speed up videos but 1.25 is sometimes to slow and 1.5 is to fast.
Thank you,
Best regards.Developer response
posted 2 years agoHello, and thank you for your review.
I'm currently working on displaying the translation percentage for the different languages the extension supports, The languages haven't been published yet but the next update they will be.
After that I will be changing the feature menu to show when you hover over the feature menu icon and hide when the mouse leaves the menu, Then I'll start working on your suggestion.
Edit: Version 1.14.0 includes "hold right click" scroll wheel volume control. It also includes an adjustment to the feature menu instead of clicking the menu now appears when you hover over the icon and disappears when the cursor leaves the menu or when you click somewhere on the page.
Edit 1: Thank you for updating your review, Instead of adding more options for the playback buttons speed I can make that a number input so the user can manually specify the speed they want the buttons to adjust by.
Edit 2: In version 1.27.0 I changed the dropdown select to a number input for both the playback speed and playback button speed. - Rated 5 out of 5by Luka, 2 years agodoesn't work at all. I only have loop and screenshot and that's all, no matter how hard I try to set up.
LE: everything works fine now, thank you!Developer response
posted 2 years agoWhat version are you using? it's possible there is a bug.
Edit:
The screenshot button and loop button appear in the feature menu.
The feature menu only appears on the watch page of YouTube it doesn't show on Shorts - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15308586, 2 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Expmodo, 2 years agoNot bad. Add Theater Mode and it will be perfect.

posted 2 years agoYouTube has a "theater mode" already, maybe I don't understand what you mean by Theater Mode.
edit: Alright I understand what you mean now.
edit 2: Version 1.12.0 includes "Automatic theater mode" feature - Rated 5 out of 5by stonks, 2 years ago🫂 Best YT browser extension in years.. 🫂
