- Rated 5 out of 5by carbonbear, 20 days agoGreat little add-on for Firefox. Still giving it 5 stars despite the playlist annoyance.
There's no setting to disable the add-on from hiding playlists which means no auto-play music. I can disable the add-on, but I still have to restart Firefox to see playlists again.
Edit: Disabling the add-on actually does nothing even with restarting. I wish a setting to view playlists was a thing.Developer response
posted 20 days agoThe addon doesn't have a hide playlist feature, every feature this addon adds must be enabled by the user it does nothing by default. I think you may have reviewed the wrong extension. - Rated 5 out of 5by Memomix, 2 months agoI like your extension thank you, so I have some requests; can you add "Pop-up player" when you scroll down for reading comments need to continue to watch the video..
and can you add "Automatically expand the video player" not just a manual button.
the last one is "Automatically sort comments from newest to oldest" this improvments will be perfect for the extension. Best Regards.
Answer to Developer: Thanks for your response.
"Are you talking about maximizing the player?" Yes automatically maximizing. Waiting for new features.. Thanks again. I wish you success.Developer response
posted 2 months agoThank you for your review. I have planned to add a pop-up player feature. Are you talking about maximizing the player? If so, that is another feature that has been in the works but is not finished. I can look into automatically sorting the comments from newest to oldest.
Edit: Thank you! - Rated 5 out of 5by Secure Fox, 3 months agoThis works!
Requesting option to remove the "Next" video button. And add option to keep "autoplay" switch, off. Thanks.
Update: "Hide live stream chat", not working.
Edit: I have the latest current FF 134.0.1 (64-bit) and YouTube Enhancer 1.27.0 installed.
The chat box shows upon opening the webpage. Have top click the X to close it. Still shows with theater mode selected on too. ex video: add https://

posted 3 months agoThank you for your review! I will add those two things to the list of features to add. If you have a GitHub account you can create an issue for each requesting those features.
Edit: I'll look into "Hide live stream chat" not working when I'm free. Thanks
Edit 1: Can you provide more information on how to reproduce the issue. Such as extension version, Firefox version. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18773326, 3 months ago

I'll change the review with my experience using the extension, could take a while since the experience can be too good and make me forget!
Edit: after quite some time i had no bugs at all and i'm liking it pretty much! the playback speed buttons could work more like the competition one though, thank you!!Developer response
posted a year agoThank you for reviewing. I will I'm currently working on a new release to fix a few bugs.
Edit: version 1.24.2 is available with a bug fix for pause background players feature and volume boost feature with "per video" mode
Edit 1: thank you for your kind review. I don't know the competition extension and even if I did I want to try to be as original as possible. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13657403, a year agoVery good add-on. It's early in development, but works generally well, it's aesthetically pleasing, and the author is actively improving it and fixing bugs -- I'm glad the bug I reported on the volume boost was fixed so quickly. Can't ask for more. Btw, current version 1.24.1 seems to not be able to copy JPEG images to clipboard -- file saving works fine!
Good work. Cheers.Developer response
posted a year agoThanks for your kind review -- You're welcome -- I'll look into copying JPEG images to clipboard thanks for reporting
Edit: Only "png" can be copied to clipboard, version 1.24.2 is available with a bug fix for pause background players feature and volume boost feature with "per video" mode - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14240462, a year ago

Developer response
posted a year agoI appreciate your honest feedback, and I'm sorry to hear that the extension fell short of your expectations. To better address your concerns, could you provide specific details on what aspects you find unsatisfactory or lacking? Understanding your experience in more detail will help me focus on improvements and ensure a better user experience. Thank you for taking the time to share your insights.
As for the other extension, my extension has no relation to it. I think the extension had some major features broke. I haven't used it.
PS: Thank you for apologizing for your rude comment. It's fine I understand. - Rated 5 out of 5by Renega, a year ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Arden, a year agoThis is a good extension and it does what I need it to with a minimum of fuss. It would be improved if the Maximize Player button wasn't hidden behind an options menu you need to hover over, though, or even possible to set up as automatic. It's basically why I'm even using this extension at all and making it easier and faster to turn on and off would be much more convenient.
edit: I am enjoying the new improvements to this. I wrote a new review, because I don't know if you'll be notified of changes to the old review, but it has been much better since the update. I would recommend renaming "video history" to something more informative, though. It took me a while to figure out where this annoying "continue video?" pop-under and shader were coming from. It is not what I thought it would do. Otherwise this is very good work.Developer response
posted a year agoThanks for your review! I plan on adding a setting for the video history that will allow for automatic resuming and also re-designing the resume confirmation to fit in with the player better.
Edit: version 1.22.0 includes automatic resume option - Rated 5 out of 5by –Phase–, a year agoPretty decent replacement for the Enhancer for Youtube extension that went down. I mainly only used that extension for its automatic theater mode and automatic quality adjustment feature, and this extension has those features as well so it works as a replacement in my case, at least until the original enhancer extension comes back, if it ever does. Thanks a lot to the developer for providing this extension.
