Can you please report the issue you are facing with more details at https://github.com/gurumukhi/youtube-screenshot/issues so that we can get it invested further? Thanks a lot again. - Rated 4 out of 5by shiihua, a year agoIt used to work for me but for some reason it stopped working :')
not sure if it's in conflict with my other add-on or has to do something with my settings, but now when i click the screenshot nothing happens.Developer response
posted 8 months agoHi, Thank you for your feedback and reporting the issue. We have updated the version to make sure it works fine. - Rated 4 out of 5by TeaEffTeu, 2 years agoNice features that would be helpful to add:
- an option to both download and copy to clipboard
- customizable filenames (video name, video id, channel name, channel id, channel username, resolution, and timestamps in various formats)
I would give 5 stars if the download and copy option was added at the least.Developer response
posted a year agoThank you very much for using the add on and also thanks a lot for beautiful suggestions :)
I am happy to share with you that new version with both download and copy option have been published (4.2.0). Looking forward for 5 stars review from you.
You can check progress of your suggestions at - https://github.com/gurumukhi/youtube-screenshot/issues/45. - Rated 4 out of 5by m.lib, 4 years agoGreat extension, very easy to use, the code is public and you almost collect no data.
The only thing is that the size of the "screenshot" depends on the video size on the screen instead of the resolution. It is good when a video is of low res, then I can still get a large picture without needing to zoom in.
However, if a video is of higher resolution than my screen (more than 1080p), then there's no chance for me to download the full res frame.
Therefore I'd propose to give users a choice between a screenshot (literally, as it is now) or a frame download.Developer response
posted 2 years agoThanks for using the addon. We have upgraded the add-on for higher resolution etc, you can check the progress at https://github.com/gurumukhi/youtube-screenshot/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aclosed. And, we collect 'no data' at all, because that's how it should be. Hope you will like it more now with latest version :) - Rated 4 out of 5by Giovanni, 5 years agoI love it, but it doesn't work if the video is a part of a playlist I have to copy the video URL from the share button and open it again
