It works, but is slow. I had 2,307 videos in my watch later... Not sure why it maxed out at that number, it stopped working at 1,000. Somehow it went higher.
Anyway it took about 30 minutes to delete all videos one-by-one. It REQUIRES that you leave your PC on the window, simply running a script over and over. So that's why it's slow.
Regardless it works :)
5/5. Being better is likely very, very difficult, though a selective do-not-delete list / selector would be an improvement no free extension has the feature (I have checked).

    Very much appreciate this add on - it's just cleared over 1800 videos from my list in no more than a minute, what would have taken me days to clear manually!

    latest update seems to have made the extension stop working for my purposes. rather than removing a given number of the oldest videos from the playlist and then being manually stopped, manually stopping seems to prevent it from making any progress, forcing a choice between clearing the entire playlist or doing nothing.

    Sorry dude to hear that. If you click the little bug button in the extension, it'll scrape your logs and create an email to send me, so i can better understand what is going wrong.

    The behavior hasn't changed, except the recent version uses a background script and runs until stopping. If you send me the logs, I'll do my best to help you

    Worked well, though I initially got some API errors it instead automatically switched to a different method and completed it correctly. Wonderful extension, thank you! Not sure why Google doesn't automatically remove or at least give the option to do this.

    Appreciate the feedback!

    You're right, it initially attempts to use the API to mass clean, but if that fails, it uses the UI and JavaScript to do the same.
