- Rated 5 out of 5by raven with comically large glasses, a month agoWhy does it need to know my tab data since the last update? I don't mind that it went freemium, doesn't excuse the creepy behavior though.
UPD: It doesn't require access to tab data anymore. Good.Developer response
posted a month agoHi Raven! Thanks so much for pointing that out! I've accidentally left those in during development while I was trying to figure out a way to get the icon loading to be more consistent (by reading if the current tab is YouTube or not). You're correct that it won't be needed! I'll push out an update fixing this. Thanks again!
EDIT: Update has been pushed :) Let me know if there's any unintended side effects! - Rated 5 out of 5by afriendlypossum, a month agoWorks much smoother since "premium" update; happy to support for the additional features. If possible I would love if we could see the video title when the mouse cursor enters the player area. Cheers!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Syntax, 2 months agoBeen using this for years. I got an ultra-wide monitor and was disappointed by YouTube being mostly back bars in full screen. Then I found this extension and it has been a huge upgrade to YouTube. Even when it moved to freemium I still absolutely loved it. Best $5 I've ever spent on a tweak for my PC.

- Rated 5 out of 5by hiyashi_ame, 9 months agoDue to the recent Youtube layout changes, I was having trouble with the chat replays being displayed on the right side of the video and reducing the video screen size when playing LIVE streaming archived videos in theater mode, and then I found this add-on!
This add-on is very useful because it allows me to maximize the screen size of the video window without having to turn off the chat replay.
(Because turning off the chat replay function disables the “YouTube LiveChat Flusher” add-on, which I want to use at the same time.)
Unfortunately, with the version 4.0 update, the chat replay is now displayed to the right of the video and the video is not window maximized.
I would love to see this add-on become even better if the display method could be reverted back to the way it was before or if it could be made an option to choose how it is displayed.
I have now downgraded to version 3.9 and am using it. - Rated 5 out of 5by Vitaly Zdanevich, 10 months ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by greaterapprater, a year agoThis does what it says perfectly but if you are trying to get a boarderless window to watch youtube videos it is now natively supported by firefox https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/turn-picture-picture-mode so I would just that instead of this. This does what it says it does though and is very similar.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Daniel, 2 years agoThis extension is critical for anyone with even the slightest sign of OCD, as the space YouTube wastes in "Theater mode" is UNGODLY, and the fact that the video is just barely larger than regular mode is a joke. Massive Thank You to whoever made this.
