Checked before and after installing/activating this extension trying all profiles and see zero improvement in my identification score on several fingerprinting sites like coveryourtracks.eff.org and amiunique.org. Benefit of the doubt after reading dev's comment that it works anyway. Can't find any proof of that though.

发布于 2 年前You need to check the details of the fingerprinting sites. Depending on your settings you can have a unique fingerprint - but this is not a bad thing if it changes: https://canvasblocker.kkapsner.de/faq/#uniqueFingerprint

- I've tried many privacy plugins, but CanvasBlocker is top-tier. A huge plus for the "fake data" (noise) generation mode, which tricks sites into thinking they got real metrics while your actual fingerprint stays hidden. It protects not just Canvas, but Audio API and WebGL too.
