Removed after years of use, My browsing session being interrupted by tabs informing me of updates, then nagging for donations is more annoying than the ads it's supposed to block.. I get that developers need support, but there's better ways of doing this.
"Once per browser per device" every time an "update" is pushed out is a terrible way of doing this and false when I see the tab opened several times in an evening during a browsing session.
ABP could do better, instead I have removed it and moved on to other add-ons as it's not worth the headache or interruptions. There are better, more competitive tools out there these days, that behave better than this... Sorry but you could do better.

We are updating the extension, therefore a popup might appear (it will only happen once per browser/device), but you can simply close it and continue browsing. If you are seeing many payment tabs all at once or encountering the payment page every time you open your browser, please reach out to us via support@adblockplus.org.
Here's more about how our contribution page works: For non-Premium users, we populate the page when we update the extension to keep you informed on changes we've made and as a reminder to support Adblock Plus if you find the software beneficial. We don't track who has previously paid unless your extension is already upgraded to Adblock Plus Premium (and in that case we won't show you the update page at all). The contribution page also displays just after installing ABP so it sometimes appears even though you have recently contributed or have paid for Premium.

Власне, це мені від нього треба і це мені в ньому подобається.

I will report this app, and recommend others do as well. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!

- Představte si, že k vám příjde cizí člověk a zakryje vám oči, protože si myslí, že může rozhodovat o tom, co a kdy můžete vidět. Máte plné ruce a nemůžete se bránit. A někdo jiný si toho všimne a příjde vám na pomoc! Mně na webu přišel pomoct AdBlock. Je to ochranný prostředek pro psychické zdraví. Díky za něj.

发布于 2 个月前For non-Premium users, our payment page displays when we update the extension to keep you informed on changes we've made and as a reminder to consider upgrading to Premium. There is no obligation to upgrade and you can dismiss the page by clicking the "x" on the browser tab. You can also dismiss this page by going to the Advanced tab on your ABP settings and unchecking the box next to "Allow Adblock Plus to show occasional promotional messages." 开发者回应
