I found this add on to replace Quantum's new tab feature, which has too much white space that cannot be changed. Bookmark Dial makes the new tab more like it was before Quantum. So far it works as expected, I like how I can easily manage the bookmark folder I want to use with it. But it appears to have an issue with the options. The options page does not display from the add on tab. Instead when you click the Options button, it takes you to the about page for this add on. The Bookmark Dial options does appear from the toolbar, however, the color chooser does not work from there (a known defect). So at this time with Quantum, it seems like it is not possible to change the color. If you are happy with the default black, then this is not a deal breaker.

The about page is also the options page, you just have to scroll down. You'll see the same options as in the popup, but color and file chooser work.

This is exactly what I was looking for! Just a simple little add-on that makes visual a selection (one folder) of my bookmark tree, while keeping my Firefox bookmarks intact. I love every single feature: the bookmark-folder-selection, choosing a background colour for the new tab, the ability to resize the page window before taking the snapshot for the thumbnail, and the ability to move or delete the bookmarks right on the tab. Wonderful!

Just plain didn't do anything. And for an add-on that wants this many permissions, that's concerning.

This add-on simply displays a black page and is unusable. I'll leave a comment to avoid installing this addon again.

Useful extension thanks! …it would be nice to have an option to replace the website thumbnails with website favicons (for me since I have many bookmarks on the page, it would be easier). Would also be nice to have a few built-in options to quickly change the style. Like a solid background option under the name (instead of a gradient) and an option to change text size & color. Also a quick filter search field at the top that would hide bookmarks as you type would be a great plus. Anyway, still good as it is, thanks a good luck!

Useless! Nowhere is there instruction as to entering a bookmark into the add-on. Useless!
