Does what it says on the tin, but hasn't been updated since late 2024, at least that's what it says on the update log within the extension. Half of the elements are styled like the layout selected, and half are modern. Would really love for this to be updated again as I loved it when it was updated regularly.
Edit: I've read the github like other reviewers suggested. That sucks. Well it was good while it lasted, and ill try and see how to use StarTube.

Hi, i really liked this extension more than youtube redux, i hope you make a twitch old layout extension, i hate the oldtwitch one.

The addon works, but it looks a little broken sometimes. Sometimes, I see that there is a button, but the button doesn't have any text. Also, you should update this to include the UI from 2005 and early 2006!

Changed Literally everything EXCEPT FOR WHAT I WANTED IT TO CHANGE! and it messed up all my tabs, making the 2 tabs I had using the Old Youtube UI that I liked... be in the new shitty UI...

(Edited) Broken at the moment of writing this review BUT here's to hoping it gets an update... It does make Youtube more ugly which means I am enticed to spend less time on the platform which I like.

This extension is very broken: the video UI, logo (why is it blue?), description, video icons, video titles (they're very big) and more. It seems that this extension hasn't been updated in a very long time and that might be the cause.

Really sad that it's deprecated (look at the github) but it still works better than the replacement userscript that the dev has moved on to.

great, I cannot stand the large film minuatures youtube makes, this extension helped me to make them smaller with more icons on the home page

Since YouTube changed to 3 massive thumbnails per row, this extension has been the answer. It lets you set the thumbnail size and number of thumbnails per row, or just revert to an older YouTube layout. Love it.

This works... But only for the default layout (the 2017 one). Changing any settings, does absolutely nothing and no amount of refreshing will change the layout to the one you've selected.

Lots of the custom UI just doesn't work anymore :(

Good but needs a little bit of graphic design tuning. Also I still see videos made after the year I set YouTube to which kills the aesthetic a lot.
