Inzwischen wird das Deepl-Icon auf X-com wieder direkt angezeigt. Deshalb ändere ich (wie versprochen) meine Bewertung wieder auf 5 Sterne. Danke für den Fix! ;-)

In English:
The Deepl icon is now displayed directly on X-com again. That's why I'm changing my rating back to 5 stars (as promised). Thanks for the fix ;-)

Thank you for your feedback. I had exactly the assumption that this (Change from Twitter.com to X.com) was the cause. I'll leave the 1 star rating so you can read my edit. Next week I will change it to 5 stars. As I said, that was just to get your attention. Because basically I am very happy with Deepl. ;-)

Seit ein paar Tagen wird auf "X" das Deepl-Symbol bei den Posts nicht mehr automatisch angezeigt. Man muss den Text erst markieren damit das Deepl-Icon erscheint. Ich benutze Firefox auf Windows 11.
Ich bewerte bewusst mit nur 1 Stern damit die Entwickler es beachten und ich vielleicht hier eine Rückmeldung bekomme.

For a few days now, the Deepl icon has no longer been displayed automatically on “X” posts. You first have to select the text for the Deepl icon to appear. I use Firefox on Windows 11.
I deliberately rate with only 1 star so that the developers pay attention to it and I might get some feedback here.

This was a result of the change last week from Twitter.com to X.com. We have a fix in development and hope to release it shortly.

    My favorite translator because of it's quality and speed. This extension works well for me and I didn't have any issues.

    The problem is when highlight a sentence in YouTube comment and translate, it can't read the original Japanese words.
    Also, the language of the extension can't be changed.

    after a long surfing and browsing session the add-on starts using a lot of ram which it doesn't free itself and cannot be freed other than deactivating the add-on or restarting the browser. this is annoying, because it starts slowing down the whole system. it took me a long while to figure out what's going on; i started realizing in the processes tab, that my extension's / add-on's ram usage is growing and growing over time - even above 1GB (!). after i deactivated the add-on, the memory was freed again. this memory related bug needs to be solved by the developer urgently.

    otherwise it does what it says - translates to a fine degree

    when i try to translate from English to Chinese, it always showing "Sorry, we cannot translate your text. Please try again later"

    All the main features work as expected. But there's a rather major flaw that's immediately obvious: it doesn't respect Firefox's color scheme settings.

    Excellent product made by DeepL. Very satisfactory. The only thing I wish DeepL would change is making it where you don't have to put in your credit card information to get the free API key.

    Ständig drängt sich dieses Icon DeepL Icon in den Vordergrund, wenn man es überhaupt nicht braucht. Nur beim Übersetzen von WordPress-Beiträgen im Gutenberg-Editor erscheint es nicht mehr. Das hat aber früher mal funktioniert. Erweiterung deaktiviert und schon ist wieder Ruhe eingekehrt.
    That DeepL icon keeps popping up in the foreground when you don’t need it at all. It only stops appearing when translating WordPress posts in the Gutenberg editor. But that used to work. I deactivated the extension and everything’s back to normal.
