Downloading videos should be as easy as downloading pictures, but YouTube, a loathsome organization, does everything in its power to prevent us from doing so. Thanks to Dishita for taking the time to wade through all their javascript (which hides the location of videos to prevent their downloading) to make these videos downloadable to the average user.

We've released version 24.1, which resolves the issue where downloads were producing incorrect file types (including text documents) instead of videos — this was caused by a YouTube algorithm change.
