says video is downloaded but no video is found in downloads folder

Впечатление резко негативное. 1) Несмотря на показ кнопки скачать, и отображаемый прогресс закачки, дошедший до конца без ошибок, видео может не быть закачано. 2) Папка временных файлов расширения резко возросла в размерах, почти до гига. Что оно там хранит - мне не ясно, но место на системном диске - не резиновое. 3) После очередного обновления расширения, у меня поиск ЯНДЕКС перешёл на английский интерфейс, который русифицировать никак не получалось. После удаления - проблемы с местом и русификацией поиска Яндекс ушли. Совпадение - не думаю. Что собирает с вашего ПК это расширение и почему вмешивается в настройки браузера - мне не ясно, поведение похоже на вредоносное ПО.

Great extension, but charging $10 after 50 downloads is insane. Get stacher7 or yt-dlp instead which are both totally free to use.

I clicked close on the pop-up asking for a review and then when I went to close the window that pop-up kept returning. So here you go. 1-star for annoying pop-ups and constant reminders that you've updated the extension... literally weekly. STOP WITH THE POP-UPS

I used this and the videodownloader with some sucess for about a month but now neither work .Says it has downloaded vid but download has zero bytes and is moribund

By default, it places an annoying button under the video window which displaces other YouTube options and there is no way to disable it.

Downloaded and tried it today (April 20, 2026), but it is not working. Zero bytes downloaded whichever type (480p, 720p, etc.) I chose.

Downloads one video successfully per 50-75 attempts. Most of the time it just "downloads" a video with zero megabytes.

This extension doesn't work as advertised. It simply does nothing. Not even the green download button that should appear on the youtube layout. Just the green icon on the browser toolbar with a message "generating link", nothing else.

Was a really good plug in and i used it a lot.
I payed for the premium version with pleasure.
But then, after 2 years, the premium version isnt working anymore for me.
So I ask the creator why and he told me that i need to pay again.
Like i already bought the premium version but then i need to buy it a second time ?
Im now using Notube wich is really nice too if you want.

What good is an extension that doesn't do what it's supposed to do? What good is a download that is 0.0MB?

Has not worked in years. Why is it still listed in Mozilla addons?
