On new New Firefox v76 on Win10/64 I just download 79mb 1080p Mp4 file off YT no problem.

Quick, clear, does everything as advertised.

To my mind this is the BEST downloader for Youtube videos. I had problems locating the icon to download the videos because it wasn't in the browser toolbar where these things often are.

After I'd opened my eyes it was obvious as there is a nice bid 'Download' button in the Youtube window itself.

Easy to use and works every time - I've bought a coffee to support.

Easily downloads mostly everything. With the latest fix it´s even better, so I recommend it for daily use and even for high quality videos

This is a great add-on to have! I would give it a 5-star except there are several formats not available on the free version that are commonly used. It would be great to have something like this for other video platforms, like vimeo, etc.

We can't download 720p files, even if they were only upload fifteen hours ago. We get the message:
Youtube switched to separate audio/video streaming technology for higher quality formats and no longer provides direct 720p (Since 24 September 2018)/1080p/mp3 streams. Converting these streams to downloadable formats for you needs powerful server infrastructure, therefore 1080p/mp3 downloading has been limited to PRO users. Of course, if you're downloading video or images that are illegal in your jurisdiction, then you will be super obsessed with covering your tracks, or trying to. I say 'trying to' because the authorities will find you eventually, charge you and prosecute you. You will be convicted and sent to prison for a long time. So the solution is not to download illegal images, not to worry about your download history!

I just donated again for this add-on, it really is that useful. With the donation, you get the ability to download the 1080P videos when possible. It's fast, reliable, and a wonderful way to ensure that a particularly poignant or humorous video can be saved for later, off-line viewing. A definite must every time I build a new system for my Firefox.

So far it's been the easiest to use compared to the other download extensions I've added to FF browser. Plus it seems to catch more media types than the others have. Thanks!
