I might love this container, but it prevents the Facebook games from working. They timeout trying to start. Once I disable the container, they start working again. There is no icon to click that allows me to add apps.facebook.com to the allowed list, so I had to disable it. Shame, I really hate Facebook tracking me everywhere but this is not working for me if I can't play the Facebook games.

We are aware of the Facebook Games breakage. We're working on a fix for it (Track its progress at https://github.com/mozilla/contain-facebook/issues/663)

In the meantime, we can walk you through how to fix specific games by adding their parent site to the container. Example: To fix Words with Friends, add Zynga.com to the Facebook Container.

This extension is LIT. It compartmentalizes facebook properly. But I would appreciate if all the meta sites like threads, whatsapp, etc. are containerized by default in this extension.

If you don't like Meta knowing your every move on the internet, this extension is a must-install. It blocks hidden trackers and "Like" buttons scattered all over the web. Now, the social network only sees what happens inside its container, rather than my entire browsing history.

It helps to prevent Facebook's tracking (doesn't stop, but helps stop), but it is missing a lot of Facebook URLs. It only has 3 of Facebook's URLs built in, but it is missing the URLs for threads, meta AI, whatsapp, all of the FB help and company pages, and their other projects. There is actually an issue and pull request open for this on their GitHub, but Mozilla seems to be ignoring it, and because of that, I have to take off major points, since they know about it, and someone is fixing it for them, but they still aren't doing anything about it, which is unfortunate.

This extension does not help for me at all I will have 2 tabs open one facebook and the other one shopping and when I go back to facebook I have ads all over it for what I was just shopping for.

Doesn't work, I can search something in firefox and on another browser altogether will start getting ads for that type of product on facebook

You have to manually add 'threads.com' to the sites that are allowed, then Threads will work again.
