- 评分 1 / 5来自 Clueingforbeggs， 17 天前They got rid of their free tier, forcing users to pay for features they clearly do not want to use (and it's obvious they know this, because they're advertising it as an upgrade to premium, despite the fact that the cost of running premium is why they're doing this), just because those features were too expensive for the people who actually want to use them.

It was awesome for the first week, before I realised I was using a free tiral for the premium version. All this did was highlight how well a simple spell checker can work, but with zero basic features its entirely useless. Im not signing up to a subscription for a simple spell checker.

- I used this tool for several months and and had a good experience with it for a long time, however, the recent changes make it unusable as an extension without paying.
Prior to this, I would have given it a 5-star rating, and should have, but I cannot currently do so given the price.
I wish for the best and hope that it does well, though I will personally not continue using it for the foreseeable future, even if I understand the reasoning behind the changes. But now, when there are a bunch of alternatives to choose from, you decide to put every single feature behind a paywall?
You deserve to make some money out of your work but damn, that is a wild decision. - When using any of the non-American English languages, I found that many words are missing. Absolutely bizarre that it doesn't have all the words in from the big dictionaries as a base-line. This was ok when it was free, but I'm not paying for a spell checker that doesn't know what's in the dictionary. You know your AI is slopping it up when Word 97 does a better job.

- Major privacy concern. The extension's privacy policy states that it can collect and store text, prompts, chats, files, metadata, IP addresses, usage data, and browsing-related information. It also states that collected data may be used for analytics, service improvement, and AI model training.
I only want a text-correction tool. Sending and retaining this much data is unacceptable for such a basic function, especially when handling potentially sensitive text. EU and especially US users should carefully consider the privacy implications before installing this extension.
