Fatal error making this paid only, absolutely dumb decision for what! having AI in it? Nah hard pass

If I have to pay because they're now using AI APIs to correct texts, I have no reason to use them.

As of lately, wants a subscription even for simple grammar check, with bogus reasoning. Basically lying to the user, why its necessary to pay now. All of a sudden.

This is an AI riddled awful checker that now requires payment when it used to be free. I suspect its to fund the AI

What a shame, it was such a good extension too. Oh well..

It is a good tool but you only get a 14 day free trial after which it requires you to pay

This extension used to be great and it worked perfectly for years. Then all of a sudden it starts with annoying popups all the time and it no longer works. What a shame.

"Oh, we need more money, to run AI in I language tool, pay us, peasants". Yeah, how about you don't use AI, then? Also, you greedy bastards got public funding, for what? To rob people?

They complain that people don't pay for this. Why would anyone pay for a glorified spell-check? If you're looking for an alternative, try Harper, it's free and open-source.
