Worked great until it didn't. But asking way too much for a spellchecker.
I don't mind paying for things, would have been happy to give £10 for a perpetual license.
But £4 a month?! Taking the piss m8. Uninstalled.

It was great until they wanted money for it. Sorry, but not everyone has $15 they can dish out to all these companies pay walling us. Maybe I would consider if it was cheaper and I had more income, but I don't. BECAUSE OF ALL THE GD SUBSCRIPTIONS to live my life!

Spell checker doesn't need to be related to AI. All you do is burn resources and kill the planet. Paying to submit text to AI for spell check is absurd.

It's straight garbage now. It claims that "Some features may require payment," that isn't true. It works for a while, then tells you your premium trial expired, and it stops working.

They gave in to the greed of turning it into a paid service. Time to uninstall it and give it a 1-star review. There are tons of extensions that do the same thing. This generic excuse of yours doesn’t fly with people over 30 who grew up using everything for free on the internet. And no one wants your st00pid AI. We’re tired of AI; we need a tool that actually checks language according to established language standards.

Even after all the AI advancements and reduction in prices they still decided to throw their free users away and make this extension only work for premium users.

No thx ima delete this, there were already allegations of them selling user data so I'm not losing anything anyway

Doesn’t the data you have obtained from your users seem enough? They also want them to pay to give them data, what a shame.
