In some cases it does not work successfully.

Excellent add-on to use on the desktop (both Windows and Linux). I have it synced with the Android app and it is nearly perfect! (It still has some quirks with some websites and requires one or two retries if the app was not previously unlocked). One year later the problem with mailbox.org (reported) persists.

The only drawback is that on some websites, it cannot recognize the login fields, even though it can recognize the password field. It would be useful to have a setting where I can manually specify which field is for the username and which is for the password for a specific website.

It is generally a fantastic extension! However, there are occasionally websites, like account.ubisoft.com and others, that either cannot auto-fill or do not recognize the inputted username and password.

A solid credential manager that helped me switch from LastPass (and I was a paid LP user for ~10 years). Features are still being developed that bring it closer to being on-par with other managers in both browser add-on and Android.

It's more trustable than apple keychain so I switched from Apple built-in password manager to Proton Pass.
The only flaw is its user interface.
If the manual or UI could be more intuitive, then we don't have to go searching and searching before using it.

It works well for the most part, aside from one issue and one missing feature:

1. occasionally, the pop-up pin entry pops up but doesnt grab focus, so you end up entering your pin in whatever text field is selected, free for any onlookers to view. potentially a big security problem for some environments, or if your machine is compromised (in which case you're screwed anyway, might as well keylog)
2. no auto-fill hotkey means this is still more cumbersome to use than something like bitwarden, despite the additional features proton provides. ive grown accustomed to it, but i definitely miss that.

all in all, what's most important is that it works and is largely secure, and the proton team have done a great job with this password manager considering its youth and all the other projects they juggle.

9/10 Would recommend. However, some sites have issues with the out complete.

I'd like aliases to connect to logins, rather than having aliases alone, then having to write the alias as a string for part of the login. Otherwise, works pretty well.
