As a basic password manager, it's fine.

But it is always finding ways to ask you to upgrade;
Want to add a secure field to a login? Upgrade.

Want to use 2FA more than a half a time? Upgrade.
And then, when I do want to see what the upgrade cost is, I can't! I subscribed through Apple Pay, so I can't use the website, and the app can't seem to figure out what to do.

Should change the tagline to: "Free* and unlimited** password manager [...]"

Works great on most points!
But the current bug with PIN code not getting focus on opening is a problem and really needs to be fixed. I have to explicitly place the mouse in the field, which is super unproductive.
I'm experiencing the same issue in Firefox in both Linux and Windows, and I also noticed it in the Proton Pass desktop app at some moments.
Though it seems that when using the shortcut keys (Ctrl+Shift+Y and Ctrl+Shift+L) the issue doesn't seem to happen in the browser.

Overall it works really well, but I've been experiencing a specific bug where the window opens a little bigger than usual and blured and when I click on something the window closes, I don't know exactly what causes this. I'm on linux

A lot of times PP suggests to fill a password form with a new random password, although an account exists (extension icon even shows "1"). Also TOTP is regularly not copied to clipboard and most sites will not be recognized by automatic TOTP fill in feature.. PP still has a long way to go

The extension works great and is very easy to use. However, on some websites, the Proton Pass icon doesn't appear on the login fields, making autofill less convenient. Overall, it's a great password manager.

Many features (I love the aliases).
I'm using the free version, so some features aren't available to me. But it's good, and pretty fast.

Only that, it doesn't auto suggest on some websites; but their number seems to have decreased at some time.

Can you explain why you need access to all browser activity? What is the plugin doing with this?

Great extension. My only gripe is the amount of paid for stuff you are locked behind. Otherwise, very useful.

Proton Pass is gemakkelijk en overzichtelijk in gebruik. Vult afgezien van de 2Fa de gegevens goed in. Het is bovendien eenvoudig om een nieuw alias genereren wat automatisch is door gekoppeld naar je echte Proton mail.

I like the password generation features. There's also ability to use email aliases if you pay for premium features, but when not paying, it seems it shouldn't offer an email alias (including at times that seem confusing , when just trying to find a password ). So the email alias features seems like a fail for the free version, but a feature if you're going premium. And really, if you don't go premium, you kinda end up with tech bro companies running the world. How's that going for us?

Otherwise, its solid. The UX is smooth but possibly a little too technical for the non-techies in my life. But I suspect still very usable. Although I ended up here today because Mozilla is griping about the extension requires extra permissions... but its unclear what permissions are needed or why. might be a mozilla issue not this extension issue. unclear.

Al that said, I like the number of features and gave it an extra star due to this fact!! Reduced one just so the review might be read. This is the best password manager due to features... but due to that fact, it comes occasional confusion.

It works great and I love Proton Pass, but it seems there are no keyboard shortcuts like in Chrome so loses a star there because I can't open the extension without navigating to the Extension manually

Overall I really like this extension. Most of the time works flawlessly, greatly assists me in keeping my accounts secure and I like how the Proton ecosystem syncs over my devices. Only small gripe is that the extension will often ask me if I want to save a username and password for a site when it already has the details for that site... not sure on the cause but only a very small annoyance. Highly recommend this, and the other Proton products.
