tried with a teams.cloud.microsoft pwa which could be installed (shows up in "my apps"), but it only opens a window showing a kind of transfer protocol and not the app itself (as chrome would do); fwiw showing the page source just reproduces the same output.
a simple web site without a pwa seems to work, so it can be used for something, but unfortunately not for teams I installed the add-on for.
