The search engine is very good, not quite on the same level as google, but gets good results in most cases.
But the extension hijacks my default page and doesn't let go of it until I deinstall it. Switched to Qwant Basic.

The fact that you cannot revert your homepage is truly an issue and we've already asked Mozilla if the override of the homepage could be consensual, but as of today, if an extension wants to set the user's homepage, there is no other way than what we did, this is why we do provide another addon, Qwant Basic, which exists exactly because of this.

Setting the default search engine doesn't even work, and the promised Qwant features are missing on qwant.com!

Blocking feature is unwanted. You can only disable it per-website and not globally.

C'est dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de réglages pour les sites que l'on souhaitent autoriser. Ça me bloque les images ou vidéos d'intro sur un site que je consulte régulièrement (la dépêche).
Les autres anti-pub réagissent correctement et ne bloquent que les pubs pas les images des articles. Obligé de désactiver le module alors que j'aurais souhaiter garder ce moteur de recherche par défaut.

This add-on blocks google tag manager and a script from googleoptimize.com. This breaks pages that rely on scripts that are loaded by gtm.
This blocking feature should be made optional! Currently I have to disable the add-on to use a contact form on a website.
