This add-on is outstanding. After trying many script/memory/disk space heavy alternatives to simple bookmarking - happening upon Raindrop.io was very satisfying. As a business operator with countless resources to monitor from economics, law/regulatory changes, supplier websites and everything in between - Raindrop.io has made bookmarking as simple as the classic NetScape implementation of "bookmarks" and added a visually elegant UI with low requirements, and easy navigation/functionality.

I can't recommend Raindrop.io enough! The price is reasonable as well - and there is nothing that makes you itch for the paid version - although people with many, many websites to keep up with will find the subscription to be a great productivity asset. In any case it's always nice to support open source software with a donation!

This extension is amazing, it is a way better bookmark system then the default firefox system. it has cloud storage, backups ups, an amazing taging system and search, a huge library of icons for the catagories.

Absolutely great extension that radically changed the way I manage bookmarks et al. — I seriously love this thing, and it's free! Awesome. The user-experience is flawless for me as well. I immediately shared this with everyone in my family and they all got hooked as well. 10/10

The extension's actually ok, but the service is not. Would leave zero stars if it were an option.

- the much-touted UI is...basically the same as Firefox's ancient one with a few ajax flourishes
- what's worse, the UI is *very* unreliable: you move something and find out a few minutes later it didn't move at all even though the UI *showed* it in the new location; this happened dozens of times
- you can't export the collections: it would only let me export the bookmark URLs (not grouped/tagged) or the *original* data I uploaded
- the "AI" took an > 1 hour to do its "magic": with ~400 bookmarks, made a few reasonable suggestions, then *never worked again* (even after I substantially reorganized things, it'd tell me "not enough data...")

TL;DR: the extension's a pretty good front end for a service that's not worth using and won't let you export your own data.

If "my privacy comes first" like you claim, Why isn't there an offline mode?
No seriously. If My stuff is STORED LOCALLY. Why can I NOT ACCESS THEM OFFLINE, ACCOUNTLESS, WITHOUT RELYING ON THE SERVERS.
