This is a full rewrite of the extension's interface and build, the first update since 1.0.14.

Redesigned in-page UI

New floating button on Instagram, Facebook and X — drag it anywhere on the page and it remembers where you put it.
The download panel has been rebuilt from scratch: clearer status for each item (pending, ready, failed), hover actions on each row, and a paginated list instead of one long scroll.
Media details now appear as stacked cards with a proper image preview, replacing the old carousel.
Better empty states, loading indicators and toast messages; the disabled download button now explains why it is disabled.
Simpler popup

Reduced to what it is actually for: an on/off toggle and a list of the developer's other extensions.
Under the hood

Rebuilt on Vite; the UI moved from Ant Design to Tailwind CSS with Base UI components, which cuts the injected payload considerably.
Fixed several styling bugs where the panel rendered incorrectly inside its shadow root on some pages.
Removed a large amount of dead code.
Permissions

No new permissions. Localhost access is no longer requested — it was only ever used for local development and is now excluded from release builds.

1. The social media downloaders were not working earlier so I have fixed them.
2. I have improved and made some changes in the Popup.
3. I have improved the download mechanism, earlier I was using the "website" for fetching the video information but now I have implemented the download mechanism within the extension. Now it doesn't depend on the website for video information so it will work perfectly.

We have Enabled YouTube video download. Now you can also download the videos from YouTube.
