I have used it for a few years and it's a simple but usefull extension.
It does not require any unnecessary permissions.

Only thing i noticed is that as of today (2026-09-22) (probably due to a FireFox update), is that the default shortcut "Alt + P" doesn't work and instead opens the browsers (Alt) Menu bar and highlights the "Profiles" menu.

I changed the shortcut to "Ctrl + Alt + P" in the FireFox extensions settings and now it works again.

So much more convenient to pin a tab with a shortcut. How did I manage to live without this extension for so long? A must have!

Shown as disabled on the latest Firefox version with the "Can't read and change data on this site" message. It requires no permissions, maybe that's why.

Does one thing and does it well, my only wish is that it would support pinning multiple tabs when they are selected. Someone has made a pull request on GitHub that does this, so any users who know how to build extensions from source can fix it on their own.

There are similar extensions over here with ridiculously large libraries bundled along, so Thanks for an extremely small extension doing exactly what declared, not more, not less!

Knowing and implementing what needs to be added to an already great product is the highest form of art.

Suggestion: Add the function for mouse users to click on the extension to pin/unpin the current tab.

I think it should be highlighted that this addon does not require having any special permissions.

Take a look in the permissions box for other addons and notice "Access your data for all websites". That's pretty scary.
