This has never worked well in my experience. It always takes over downloads, that it does okay but if I don't want it to capture a download such as viewing a pdf in my browser the icon when clicked to toggle the download interception to off makes zero difference and it still captures the download. There is a key which is supposed to stop it but I cannot see that anywhere, it might be the [DEL] key. It would be okay if it was possible to disable the download interception but that doesn't work on my browsers either Waterfox G5, Waterfox G6 or LibreWolf. It's just a damn nuisance not being able to stop it grabbing the downloads when I don't want it to.

In fact, it recognize the short bellow the one i'm currently watching but rarely ever the one i'm currently watching. Have to manually point to firefox executable from idm taskbar>options every time and even then it isn't reliable. I raised support many months ago and things have only gone worse
