发布于 2 年前Hi there, unfortunately this is caused due a Firefox bug which affects many extensions that use a similiar set of permissions. The bug has already been reported 8 months ago but Mozilla isn't doing much about it. See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1851083.
Since there is no solution in sight, and your 2 star review was a painful reminder, I just have downgraded Trufflepiggy - Context Search(v0.9.11) to the old manifest version. So this should solve the issue for now.
You may wanna update your review once you are on the latest oldest version again. That would be helpful.

There are two Add-On's associated with Trufflepiggy.
Trufflepiggy Context Search
Trufflepiggy Quick Search
I don't see the difference between the two, and they're both excellent.
I recommend to use one or the other. You don't need to have both Add-on's.开发者回应

UPD: Context Seach is the little sibling of Quick Search. You can use your setup with both. Context Search was created later for all users who just want a context menu and no overlay. Therefore context menu requires less permissions which some users prefer.- 评分 5 / 5来自 LostPacket， 8 年前The only WebExtension that I know of that can perform concurrent searches in multiple configurable groups of search engines ("Context Search" by Olivier De Broqueville can handle a single group only).

Thank you, Clemens! - 评分 5 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 13549977， 8 年前i use trufflepiggy primarily as a productivity tool doing diagnosis and research work. adding custom search pages is one of trufflepiggy's best features supporting that approach. i added dnslookup.org, whois.com, and other sites that dont do search per se, but lookup, saving time not having to copy and paste everything.
i also use trufflepiggy to help me remember good search engines i stumbled upon.
this is very helpful since bookmarking or other extensions like pocket are not suited for that category of webpages.
the new context search feature improves the usage even more, because it also works when viewing PDF's and thus it is really helpful when reading a lot of papers. - 评分 5 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 13549516， 8 年前Super easy to use and I didn´t know how much time I was wasting before!
I got recommendation for trufflepiggy from a friend, but I was lazy and I didn´t wanted to invest time in another new program. Then my friend told me another time again how much he is using it and how helpful it was... so I have given it a chance and it turns out that it is super helpful indeed and quite simple to understand how to use it.
And I do like the little piggy nose-button I see now so often <3
