However, with the recent update, it requires and additional addon "Video DownloadHelper Companion App" in order to work properly. This addon is NOT hosted in the official Mozilla Foundation repository for add-ons.
This puts the questions of its legitimacy and security.

发布于 9 年前Whatever question of legitimacy and security, this companion app is now the only way to make the add-on work properly. Feel free to bash Mozilla for that, not the add-on.
