When it works, speeds are good and browsing is not affected too much. It is not constant, it may be really quick and sometimes quite slow. Overall good.
Unfortunately, after some random time, it becomes impossible to do anything : browsing to new pages, refreshs. When it happens, gpu usage for firefox is high.
Only solution is to restart firefox which is destroying the usability.
It doesn't happen everyday and sometimes it happens multiple times per day...
I haven't tested the Windscribe windows app.

Edit : I finally switched to Opera for the cases when I need privacy. The windscribe extension can perfectly work some days but the others requires way too much restart of Firefox. I leave it with 3 stars because of the monthly 10Gb free limit.

It's ok. A lot of the IPs are various degrees of blacklisted/cause issues despite having a paid subscription, but at least they're stable with little downtime in the soon to be year I've used it. The biggest issue is that the company is trying to be cute about everything, with inane shit that pops up left and right. I need these people to understand that while it's their workplace and means a lot to them, it's a freaking VPN to the rest of us and we really just need it to do its thing and shut up about it. Mullvad does that a lot better, so we'll see how much I value browser-only VPN when my sub is up.

Windscribe вводит пользователей в заблуждение. Браузерное расширение с названием "Free VPN" на деле предоставляет не VPN, а прокси сервер. Никакого шифрования и безопасности у такого подключения нет.

it work perfectly if we buAnd it is really unique. The most important thing for me is the speed, which is great, and the other best part is the Build A Plan section, which is unique, and I renew my account every month through this.
