The funny thing is, I originally developed this extension strictly for my own personal use, and my initial design idea was simply for the zoom mechanism to be 'always on' in the background while I browse and use the pan option to move inside the video. I actually never intended for the 'P' button to be used as an active on/off safety toggle just to navigate the page! It makes me incredibly happy to see how you cleverly discovered that trick and gave the tool a completely new dynamic workflow that fits your needs perfectly.

By the way, thanks to workflows like yours, I've just published version 2.30 introducing a brand-new feature called 'Time-Based Deadzone'. It automatically acts as a smart brake on your mouse wheel for a split second when you hit the zoom limits. This means you can now fluidly zoom into a video and then instantly continue scrolling down the page naturally, without ever needing to press 'P' to protect your mouse wheel again!
