- on win7 64 I'm using this on FF version 51.0.1 as this is the last version w/o that prompt on the user name fields that was annoying.
I have jumped ship from NoSquint Plus as it's having issues with versions 60+ only. I wanted to use an older build but the author codes time bombs in this addons that disables it's self after 90 days which is bullshit so we can't even use a previous version if the current version is not working. So my first question is does your addon have this time bomb too?
On another note; when I set the global zoom and text the specified text global zoom gets ignored?
Also I don't see any context menu under the Tools menu - 评分 2 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 13394801, 9 年前The non-WE version displayed a - and +; you just clicked on one or the other. Now you have to click to activate the icon, then increase or decrease type size. Typical evolution of simple apps. Add more goodies, using up our time to navigate. This is progress? Looking for a replacement for this add-on.
- Very nice addon, unfortunately limited because of Firefox politics.
Does its job even with Beta Fx (v57 b11....)
The "extra" feature I suggest is : a way to pin (save and block) the settings chosen for a site. so that no accidental change can occur ... and so that the shortcut "ctrl+0" brings back the "fixed" if changes were made to a site setting.
Thanks anyway for the intelligence your addon adds to Firefox 开发者回应
发布于 9 年前When Firefox 57 is released, the only add-ons that will work are those that use the new Firefox WebExtensions API’s.
With the new Firefox WebExtensions API’s, it is just not possible to make Zoom Page WE work the same way as the original Zoom Page.- When I install ZoomPage WE on Firefox with MANY tabs open (like 1800) the browser immediately hangs. If it does not then just hit save on preferences or open a page within new tab. It doesn't happen with small number of tabs open.
The old extension works fine.
OS: ArchLinux, FX 56.0.1 64bit.
Thanks for developing this extension, I cannot rate it sensibly now, but I will when the bug is fixed :)

Edit: The new version does not have this bug, many thanks for developer for his amazing support! Fantastic work!开发者回应
发布于 9 年前Please can you provide some more information:
- Are the 1800 tabs actually open (i.e. have the tabs been selected and the pages loaded) or are the tabs just pending (i.e. tabs have not been selected and the pages have not been loaded) ?
- Are a lot of the pages in the tabs from the same website ?
- What are your settings for: Zoom Mode, Zoom Type, Default Full Zoom Level, Default Text Zoom Level and Default Minimum Size ?
- Is the "When Firefox starts" option set to "Show your windows and tabs from last time" ?
Please email your answers to: dw-dev@gmx.com - The page [ https://www.msn.com/en-ca/entertainment/entertainmenttv/cancelled-renewed-or-ending/ss-AAtig0B?li=AAggNb9&fullscreen=true#image=1 ] and similar slideshow pages work fine when ZoomPageWE is disabled, but display a blank screen when it's enabled (regardless of zoom setting).
Also, hopefully future versions of the WE platform will permit restoration of some of the previous functionality unsupported in Web Extensions. All-in-all an add-on that's very good at doing what it says it will do.
Not sure if ZoomPage handles responding to the touchpad pinch to zoom in/out or if that's internal to Firefox; but I wish I could set it to only zoom with pinch if I'm holding [shift] or [ctrl] or the like.开发者回应
发布于 9 年前Cannot reproduce this problem with Full Zoom, Text Zoom or automatic AutoFit enabled.
Another of your add-ons may be conflicting with Zoom Page WE.
Which operating system are you using? Which version of Firefox are you using? - 评分 5 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 12946553, 9 年前It works just like in the previous ZoomPage, but some sites (i suspect html5 but have not inspected it thouroughly) make the autofit crazy. It zooms in and out for seconds until it gives up to 100% zoom. This behaviour makes it unusable as it is for me.
A sample page where it bugs : https://www.grazia.fr/
Edit : Thanks, it's much better now ! - 评分 1 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 13366908, 9 年前Everything is much, much slower than with the old one.
"View Image" --> "Zoom" is f*cking slow, it crashes the whole Firefox.
I switched back to the old one, and everything is MUCH faster than with the new WE. Image zoom is blazingly fast.
I will not change to this WE-version unless i really have to. This sucks so bad that I just might switch to a different add-on just because of this.开发者回应
发布于 9 年前Zoom Page WE 7.1 should fix these issues.
If Text Zoom or Minimum Font Size are applied to a page, then Zoom Page WE will be a little slower on that page than the legacy Zoom Page. - 评分 4 / 5来自 Morten. P. C., 9 年前Need some reset button to default the settings, and
Need some settings for sites to left-center-right alt in body and html
it's has always driving me nuts, when Some html, body and borders are being displayed in left site after top-banner on responsive sites instead of being center when i zooming in.
so basicly what i ask for is a feature to keep borders and body to align="center" when i zoom, while making side-banners pushed out of display sight, this site is an good example. - This appears the be the only(?) most viable replacement for the NoSquint extension of Firefox past.
It would be nice if there was an option to only automatically do an auto-zoom if there are no previous 'Zoom Page WE' settings for that page/url/domain. (ETA: I just reread the instructions, and it says this option is already there.. I just don't think it's working properly here, sine I had to disable it because I think it was always applying it --- I'll try enabling it again, and notice if there is indeed a problem here. )
Though I do like that the built-in Fx zoom controls seem to affect the text only, after an auto (where the setting is 'full') has been applied. Don't know if this is intentional or not, but I like the fact that it seems to work that way here.
Also, regarding the options page: it's not drawn correctly here (namely the bottom buttons) if the minimum font size is set larger.. I had to lower that in order to see what the last checkbox was for.
However, I'm having a constant annoying problem in Fx Nightly (58.x) - where a yellow banner pops up, and says "Zoom Page WE" is slowing down your browser.. With options to temporarily disable it, stop it, or wait. The only workable solution to get past it and view the page properly is to select either 'temp disable' or 'stop it'.
Response for developer reply of 17-11-01:
Sorry for the late reply - I've been trying to gather any commonalities (unsuccessfully). It has largely calmed down for the moment, but seems to be more prevalent if 'autofit' is enabled. When it was happening a lot, I had few tabs being restored due to me just getting into nightly... But now I always have a lot of tabs (>30 tabs). Whether that means anything, I don't know.开发者回应
发布于 9 年前If the Zoom Mode is Per-Site and if the "AutoFit when page loaded or browser resized" option is enabled, then fit-to-width zoom will be applied automatically - but NOT if the user has manually set a site-specific zoom level.
With Zoom Page WE 7.1, the Options page is now drawn correctly for all font sizes, and the yellow banner popups should no longer appear. - 评分 3 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 13347901, 9 年前The new functions are fine but I miss the one hand, one click +/- and the one click % drop down menu of the old version. Find a way to restore the functionality of the old version and you get five stars.

发布于 9 年前With the new Firefox WebExtensions API's, it is not possible for an add-on to have more than one toolbar button, which prevents separate +/- and dropdown buttons.
There are of course the Ctrl+0, Ctrl+- and Ctrl++ keyboard shortcuts. - 评分 3 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 13344487, 9 年前Hi
Coming from defunct NoSquint, and as directly switching to NoSquint Plus would have been too easy and unfair I decided to give a try to Zoom Page WE. I installed and got a popup about some key that should be set to TRUE but I didn't had time enough to read & understand as non-english native speaker.
What to do ?
BTW : what does WE stands for ?
Thanks开发者回应
发布于 9 年前The popup tells you to set the 'browser.zoom.siteSpecific' preference in Firefox's 'about:config' to either 'true' or 'false', depending on whether you are using 'Per-Site' zoom mode or 'Per-Tab' zoom mode.
'WE' stands for WebExtensions, which is the name of the new Firefox add-on API's. 开发者回应

发布于 9 年前Zoom Page WE provides site-specfic zoom, just like the original Zoom Page.
Since version 6.0 Zoom Page WE provides fully automatic fit-to-width zoom. - 评分 1 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 13340688, 9 年前I have used the previous version of zoom page for years it was amazing. The new version is useless. No matter what you set the zoom level at you have to reset it every time you follow a link, or go backwards and forwards.
It doesn't even remember the zoom level you have picked if you visited the site earlier in the day.
If I could give it a zero star rating I would开发者回应
发布于 9 年前Zoom Page WE has all the features of the original Zoom Page (and a few more), except for the image zoom features.
Zoom Page WE provides site-specific zoom. In the options, the 'Zoom Mode' must be set to 'Per-Site'. Also, in Firefox's 'about:config' page, the 'browser.zoom.siteSpecific' preference must be set to 'true'.
