- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13731931, 7 years agoThe best Notes addon. Really! Why? I was so frustated to search about 3 days(!) for an alternative addon due to changed addon technology (thanks to mozilla for showing great sensitiveness), that I almost considered to change to chrome! This one rescued me...
- I use Firefox developers edition (59) and this works perfect. The ability to save and backup in txt files are well implemented...
- But another "must have" (which I found after extensive searching) is the "real-time" storage of the notes, so that I can backup them automatically (for interested users: this file is found in my version under: C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\c0v3ojq5.dev-edition-default\browser-extension-data\{43c507fe-30de-47e0-8449-3fc7770c0634}\storage.js //you can open this file with a text editor)
To give a little helpfull contribution to this project:
- it would be great to implement the ability to choose where to backup or save the notes
- the possibility to format the notes individually would be another helpfull extension, at least to format all of them at once in the main menu
- last but not leas: the possibility to search within the notes
But I'm not complaining, just hoping (:-)...Great job Carmine...keep it up!
