And **every** time YT thinks of a new way to block it, Dishita finds a workaround for it. Highly recommended. Do get the sponsored version for the best results!!
Edit: The last few weeks (2024) YT added another block in the path of all download apps. Also this one has been affected. I am confident a solution will provided soon. No reason to sh*t on the extension: it is YT being difficult.
Edit2: And as expected: this hurdle was taken and the plugin downloads HD content again!! Great work!!
Edit3: To all the "this is a scam" reviewers: it is NOT. Does YT break it often? Sure! Does it get resolved? YES. EVERY SINGLE TIME. This is the only downloader which has worked for me over the last few years.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Rk, 2 days agoI was sceptical at first, but it really works, I can now download youtube music videos that I could only download in premium subscription of youtube and I can play those videos in VLC media player. There are higher resolution download options too, that I could have had to buy a premium subscription to chose otherwise.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Straw, 5 days agoThis page says the "Access your data for all websites" permission is optional, but after installing it, it was enabled by default?? This is really suspicious setup, whether intentionally or not. I don't need a downloader to read everything I do outside of YouTube.
Anyways, i personally found out i always go to a specific website out of habit, hence never using this extension, so no point for me keeping it - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13655286, 5 days agoEasy and quick for my simple requirements. Seems more consistent than Downloader for some reason.
