The good news is that we've released version 24.1, which specifically addresses this problem. Please update to the latest version and downloads should work properly again. I stepped away for a while when :yt: code changes blocked its functioning for an extended period, and a different extension worked better -- but now in 2026 the tides have turned, this one works (150.0.3 under Linux) and the other doesn't! Having a reliable alternative is always good.
