Very useful

Easy to use, few simple clicks, dosen't always give you all the dowload option you want but, normally get a good quality. Have to be aware of others doing updates, this can cause problems. Then you need a little patience and maybe a backup plan.

Easy, simple and does what it should without the hassles that others I have tried.

YT is always trying to thwart downloaders, but Dishita keeps this one updated as quickly as possible. It's a very good piece of software, and very well supported.

Love the continuous update feature. Works very well for my purposes.

For those that have complained this product fails, the fault is not with the program but with the constant -- often unannounced -- changes to YouTube. I've experienced issues from time to time, also.

My suggestion:
1. Update your extension to the newest version. Force the update by going directly to the extension in your browser, click SETTING and look for the CHECK NOW (or similar button) to force a version check and force the update download.
2. Make sure your browser is current and updated to the latest version with all patches.
3. Check to be sure your browser's update didn't turn off the extension. If this happens, reactivate the extension.
4. If you've done #1 and #2 and the video still won't download, try closing out ALL browser windows (Use Task Manager to kill all browser sessions), then restart the browser.
5. If all e;se fails, shutdown all browser sessions (as per #4), then do a "cold boot" of your computer. That is SHUTDOWN the PC completely (not a reboot), then restart the computer.

Honestly this addon works great! With it I can collect memes and memories with ease. I have found no problems with it so far in my 1 year+ experience with it!

First, I have more than one downloader. The request to review it did not include an icon/logo of this app, so I don't really know which app this review is for. So, I can't really say much about it. Big mistake right off the bat. Second, the permissions required to use MANY apps are too general and not restricted enough. Example: "Access your data for all web sites". This is way too broad and a BIG security risk. This should be restricted to specific items for specific reasons, and not left to the honor system. Other things like reading my clipboard is not necessary, and should be restricted to reading only what is pasted into the app by the user. If I don't want to paste it, then it shouldn't be allowed to read it. All this applies especially to passwords and user data. It's way too easy to abuse it's purpose. The purpose can be fulfilled without access to user's passwords and sensitive data; you just have to do it the right way without taking the "easy way out" to avoid the effort.
I like the idea of the app and it's output, but it's internal workings are seriously flawed. It needs a serious audit.
Instead of donating to the app/cause/support, I'd rather help develop the app by guiding the programmers on how they ought to program it. Any takers?
