This has been a helpful and easy to use. I live in a rural area with only CDN for my internet use, which makes it nearly impossible to watch anything streaming. Now I can grab what I need and take it home to watch later, no buffering or losing connection in the middle of a video. It has changed my life for the better. I will continue to use this addon, for sure.

Great outgoing communications and very frequent updates. I've never had a browser extension that updates as frequently or is as clear about explaining what/why the changes were made. YT does *not* make it easy to d/l their content and the dev has to scramble to keep up. That said, it is a one-man show, and while I have never needed support, I am not surprised to see reviews saying support is weak.

Now and then, the extension will stop working -- this always means YT has changed something again. After several years of using this extension I now just take a breath and move on, knowing that I'll see an extension update before too much longer.

I think the 1-star reviews mostly just don't get this, and are spoiled by free extensions. I look for freeware, but have never regretted paying for this extension after wasting countless afternoons cycling through the alternatives that either don't work at all or stop working soon.

Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express Works! It's that simple, and worth upgrading to a PRO account. It's very easy to use. I use it regularly, with no issues, to download items to save on my phone because I'm often in areas with weak/no service or required to be offline.

I've been using this down-loader for a few months. Easily the easiest, most consumer friendly down-loader I have used in the past ten years. No negative impact on my system. So quick and convenient. Brilliant!

I use this extension all the time. I tried an online service a while ago, but downloading always took too long. It is very good to be able to download in different formats and different qualities. The only problem, and the one star missing is that your server should not be doing any conversion. I can't download 1080p without PRO, which makes sense because it isn't available as an mp4. However, I would like a way to download however youtube actually stores that data and ffmpeg it into an mp4 on my computer.

I get good use out of the app. There's something going on with the external app. Some (many?) videos I try now start to download, but never get there. When it works it's great.

Been an IT guy since MS WFW 3.11 and weened on command line. Although youtube-dl on Linux is very good, this is foolproof and browser-based. Well, fool-resistant anyhow. Try it, you will like it.
