The ONLY add-on I've found that downloads HD videos. Works great on nearly everything, though I've run into one or two videos that it couldn't download.

Update 7/23/20: Software has been updated to change the way it activates for the pro version. Only people who bought in the last 12 months get to keep using it. I paid for pro 15 months ago so would need to pay again but I will not. Dropping my rating considerably for this.

Worth adding to your toolbox. Works for about 90% of the videos I've tried. I also use the "Youtube MP4 Downloader" add-on, which complements this one and gets my success rate up close to 99%.

This is the best of all the YouTube download apps. I have tried them all and there is always some little difference that is a problem or YouTube detects them and you can't use. Not this app. It does what it says and is all you need. Thanks for the hard work to make it easy for users.

First, although I've owned a PC since 1984, I'm not that great when it comes to technical things "behind the curtain" things and generally speaking I know just enough to screw things up. I really enjoy Youtube and when I came across a downloader a couple of years it was a great way to download content to watch of line or share and it worked fine until FIREFOX removed support. One or two others I tried never worked.
But I find, so far, EYVDE has worked well and Dishita has followed through keeping the downloader working through the changes. The downloader itself is very easy to use through a simple menu showing file sizes in video and sound depending on the option you choose. Unlike most, my HDTV is also my PC monitor (I got a wireless keyboard and mouse), making access to online content much easier and faster than going through a cable box, or some type of plug-in "stick". Downloads on my 4+ yr. old Lenovo Think Pad are very to somewhat fast. Some what being a few minutes for a 1080p Full HD 2 hr program. I like the product.
