Works well. A few weeks ago Google changed YouTube somehow and it wasn't working. But the developer updated the extension and now it's working again, same as before. Recommended.

Yes, the developer asks for a donation to download videos at the higher resolutions. I paid and I don't regret it.

Downloads videos yes, but it's also very intrusive. It invades the graphical interface of Youtube with not only the button, but also a big message about a premium product when I tried to download an MP3. I could not remove the message until I uninstalled this. Bad decision on your part.

The very intrusive message is:
PRO UPGRADE : Since Youtube no longer provides direct download links for 1080p and MP3 qualities these two qualities require server infrastructure for processing, therefore user needs to Pay and Upgrade here >>>, you have the choice to pay whatever you want for this one-time upgrade which helps me keep this service alive for all users.

I just downloaded and installed this addon. On YouTube button appears. When I clicked on it, a message appeared - "Downloading as 1080 is not possible." In this message, there is a link to such rules on YouTube.
In short, this is a useless addon.

Does what it states without any frills whatsover. Terrific job from the developer. Be it 1080p videos or 256 Kbps songs, it creates the link in a jiffy. Keep up the good work man.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. I love not having to sit through YT's grammarly ads before every video. Dev is very responsive to support queries.

No crapware, works well with uBlock and AakList (as well as several other extensions.) The author even helped me after I lost my reactivation key.

If you just want a copy of said video, you don't have to spring for the upgrade to get HD (you get 720p). The pro is almost exactly same in functionality with this regard.
