This is my favorite web browser addon. Well thought out, reliable, and easy to use. The free version works flawlessly for for ~720p mp4 downloads, but i use it often, so I finally made a small donation. Well worth it for the additional mp3 & 1080 download functionality.

Unable to download mp3 files without "upgrade"
YouTube switched to separate audio/video streaming technology for higher quality formats and no longer provides direct 1080p/mp3 streams. Converting these streams to downloadable formats for you needs powerful server infrastructure, therefore 1080p/mp3 downloading has been limited to PRO users.

Have been using this software for several years and just upgraded.

Have found it to be quite excellent, always "delivering goods".

I had a few videos that wouldn't download, or would download as 0 byte files. After a repeated attempts, they did successfully download. Glad for this software. Will try it out a bit more. Don't love that some of the downloading options are walled off "freemium" style. I understand the costs of infrastructure, though I' m not sure I will use it often enough (a few times a year) to justify a big donation...

Honestly, I should have paid for it awhile back, but I kept putting it off.

THIS ADD-ON is PERFECT DONATIONWARE!
The more I use it the more pleased I am with the results.
While I cannot afford much, I use the product, add if it works, I donate what I can, and THIS WORKS.

There have been some minor issues early on, which were handled very quickly by e-mail and have had no problems since.

Edit: Recent server/host change interrupted service for a few days with out notification, but all redirects to the new service seem to be fixed.

I love this add-on, it is one of the few YT downloaders that handles FHD well, when other FHD downloaders can't even find the videos' existence.

The free version of the add-on is easy-to-use, fast and reliable, even with (very) long content. Ideal integration into YouTube's interface.
I bought the pro version with confidence since it seemed so robust, and I was not disappointed. In a minute I had seamless access to HD download, which is as easy and fast (considering the higher volume of the files) as the regular version.
I haven't found any cons or flaws yet, as far as my uses are concerned.

I've used several YouTube Downloader/mp3 converter tools, but this one is by far the best! It uses a 3rd party website which is really key for it's performance. It is really fast and can handle many downloads at once. It doesn't directly download the video file when making an mp3 conversion: so it's great for metered connections! There's a small fee for using the website payable up front, but it's so worth it in performance! So happy!

I've been using Dishita's Easy Youtube Download for many years now. It's effortless to install, easy to use and consistently reliable. Whatever else it may be, Youtube is a huge storehouse of music. My work depends on access to a wide variety of music recorded live or in studio or from film, radio or TV. My research would come to a dead stop without the ability to download music for study. Years ago and after long hours searching the internet to find a reliable, inexpensive and easy to way to download from Youtube, I finally found Easy Youtube Downloader here on the Firefox add-on page. I downloaded it, made a small donation and after a couple of initial minor bumps that Dishita promptly and clearly helped me over, I had a swift and efficient way to download from Youtube. At relatively long spaced intervals over all these years the service has been interrupted when Youtube has changed its design. When this has happened, I've been able to return to the Easy Youtube Downloader installation page, follow the simple instructions to install Dishita's latest update and I've quickly been able to get back to work. Bravo Dishita! This add-on's a boon to everyone who needs the ability it provides. The original idealistic dream for the internet was that it would open to everyone the world's wealth of art, thought, knowledge and communication, easily and cheaply. Now that nearly everything online has been commodified to make the very few very rich at the expense of the many, very few people and services have survived to continue in pursuit of that original ideal of easy universal access. Easy Youtube Downloader is one of these few survivors. Install it, make a small donation to keep the service going and then thank Dishita for keeping a huge portal into some of the world's riches open for us all.

it pushes trojans which shows adds many times. Also I found that my saved passwords got leaked after installation of this addon. Beware guys you may be watched.

Worked great, since I paid for it, but after reinstalling Windows a week later, it's gone. I tried contacting these guys, and said I have a PayPal receipt that's only a week old.. No Response. That was several weeks ago, still no response. I won't give them any more money. I found another one that works better, downloads HD and is free.
