I have used this add-on with Firefox Developer Edition for more than two years and it has not disappointed me because it works as expected.
In addition its easy to use and provides options of choosing from different download file sizes.
I really find it useful and will continue to use it.

The Youtube Downloader is very well done. I've used it for years.
Because Youtube constantly makes code changes, the developer is always having to update the downloader, so sometimes it doesn't work, but only temporarily. Be patient, and he'll get it fixed. That's a Youtube issue, not his.

It's also one of the fastest to adapt to new changes to YouTube's website restoring functionality quickly when a previous method no longer works.
