A very useful addon. Truly working!

I love YouTube but often I want to download and watch their videos offline.
This add-on is so easy to use and lets me do that without any problems but periodically requests donations or reviews.
I've tried other down loaders but this one works better.
The author tries his best to keep the down loader working despite code changes by Google so minimizing inconvenience.

Very nice addon, easy to use, does what the developer says it will do, no problems, high quality results. If you need a youtube downloader this is the addon to use.

Edit: I changed my rating because whatever it was that happened when I first used it, stopped.
The right videos are downloading (so far) and after closing and reopening my browser, the 720p option came back. So it was probably a glitch.

I was also told by email there is a minimum donation...but I accidentally deleted the email so don't remember what it is $10 or $15 I think.
To be honest, 720p is good enough for me. Maybe in the future I'll go pro but not now.

When I got the add on, it told me 1080 could only be accessed with a donation...which I was fine with if I ended up liking it, I would probably get it.

Downloaded my first test video in 720p and straight off, it downloaded the wrong video, downloading a video I had watched earlier...but with the name of the video I was trying to download. Why?

So I went back to get the actual video I was trying to get, the 720p option vanished and told me I had to donate to get the 720p. It says everywhere to donate for 1080...not 720. And there's no 480 option so now I have no choice but to get a blurry video. Just great. How is this different than every other youtube app right now? *sigh*

So I head to the donation page to bookmark it for later...and now instead of asking for 5 bucks...it is asking me for $15. I might have had a spare 5 bucks...but not $15 for an addon that is already giving me conflicting information.

While it worked this was a great Add-on but from other reviews from the last couple of days it seems like this Add-on is not working anymore (I thought it was a problem on my side but now it seems to be a general problem). I hope this get fixed soon as I used it regularly.

I just made a donation to the creator of this addon cos of how much impressed I am with the addon. There is a lot of YouTube videos which I watch over and over again and therefore its important for me not to have to stream it everytime. Not only do the addon work great but the updates to keep up with the ever present changes to YouTube is also excellent. Great addon all around. Thx

I can't say about all the 'Add-ons' but I have been using 'YouTube Downloader' successfully without any problems. This is an important feature as I can view and review downloads where ever I go where there is no Wi-Fi or no internet connection. I really like this and could sincerely recommend this Add-on as it works flawless. Thanks for this privilege. I am sure that I will explore the other Add-ons in the future as it becomes necessary. Thanks for this.

Dishita since you started so called updating the program it has gone from good to extremely bad video extension. Updating just make extra buck. Once upon a time it was best video down loader utility.

This add-on is working great on Mozilla Firefox. Thumbs Up.

I have downloaded hundreds of videos with it. It works perfectly.
