Latest version has a check mark which solves the problem. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13849735, 6 years agoGreat Add-on! A replacement for live bookmarks since Firefox 64.0 update.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Jasey D., 6 years agoFirst, thank you so much for creating this. Mozilla's decision to remove the native reader was unexpected.
I like this add-on because it is simple and does exactly one thing and does it well.
It took a little work, but I have imported the live bookmarks that Firefox auto-exported on the update to 64. I had problems with dupes but that seems to have died down. I used another add-on (Bookmark Dupes) to clean up the list and it seems stable now that it has finished the initial import.
Editing my review a couple of years later just to say this is still one of my favorite Firefox extensions. I have no idea why Mozilla took out the native support, but this is exactly what I need.
When researching the latest news, the ability to open every single story with "Open All in Tabs" is a time saver as well. - Rated 4 out of 5by Miles-Prower, 6 years agoA much-needed add-on since Mozilla decided to openly kill RSS support (and weirdly advertises Pocket as a pseudo-alternative in its help pages).
Setting it up is a bit rough as of now but works. Sync across multiple devices however causes a few issues - for instance the other devices do see the new folder bookmarks, but do not understand they're Livemarks out of the box. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14479781, 6 years agoThank you for providing a replacement for Live Bookmarks (which is removed in Firefox 64)!

* Is there a way to customise or show site icons or favicons, with the Livemark bookmarks.
* A manual or set of instructions would be useful. - Rated 5 out of 5by Lukasz Stachowicz, 6 years agois there a way to automatically or semi-automatically change my existing folder structure with live bookmarks into an importable OPML file with livemarks?
- Rated 5 out of 5by Jutz, 6 years agoMust have! Simple, works fine, import/export your feeds. Missing a reload now button somewhere.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14424271, 6 years agoFinally ! Thank you for that !
It just misses the ability to create folders, sync and a color change for read streams.
Thanks again ! - Rated 2 out of 5by jj, 6 years agoThis is an excellent replacement for the discontinued FF Livemarks. I created a folder for all my rss feeds and placed it on the toolbar. This is a simple way to keep the feeds organized and easy to scan.
My wish would be that visited links would change icon color to show already visited when reviewing feeds.
Update: Sadly the feeds do not update regularly. The only way I can force an update is to close and reopen FF. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14298872, 6 years ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13497661, 6 years agoWorks well for single machine use, but fails when syncing accross multiple machines. Only the main computer knows about the "live-ness" of the bookmark and while the synced machines will get a snapshot of the RSS Feed, they won't be able to update it. Apparently the Addon doesn't sync settings using Firefox Sync.

posted 6 years agoHello Mastacheata,
Thanks for the review, the latest version (version 1.8) now adds Firefox sync support. Normally, the livemarks should appear on the other instance too and should be listed under the add-on preferences. Can you please let us know if it works for you ?
Thanks again.

- Rated 5 out of 5by MrPotato, 6 years agoWorks well and looks nice. Although I don't think it can read from files which may be a problem.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14381320, 6 years agoAdd-on working great so far. However, I am running into trouble importing my Youtube channel XML feeds. This used to work with live bookmarks using the URL: 'https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=CHANNELID" . It looks to me like the Youtube XML fomat is not readable in Livemarks. Does anyone know a workaround?

posted 6 years agoTracking protection/content blocking might be blocking the feed from being fetched, you'll need to whitelist the domain. - Rated 4 out of 5by Dbradley, 6 years agoBest for now. Not working with gmail or reddit. Not sure why, but ty for this.
