- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12563800, 8 years agoI prefer to use the local password vault option for NIS, yes you can still use the local option if you never set up a cloud vault. This addon does not see my NIS local vault and I refuse to use a cloud option. Are you freaking serious? The cloud is not safe and NOT PRIVATE!!!!!
FYI- Chrome and IE still work with the NIS password manager with a local vault. So you may be making a decision for me, unfortunately. - Rated 1 out of 5by Krystalle, 8 years agoI loved using this add-on. It made life easier. What I despise about it is that every time Firefox updated, Norton's Identity Safe would no longer work for months...and months...and months. I had to use FireFox for school. I had tons of passwords I had to look up on the Norton Identity Safe website and write down individually. It sucked. I paid for all of the perks of Norton 365, not just the internet protection. It should work all the time or have a week of inconvenience at most. Norton has lost me as a customer.

posted 8 years agoHello - thank you for writing your review. The versions of Identity Safe addons for Firefox since late 2015 have been written using forward-compatible API's. Since then, we no longer need to rebuild for each Firefox release. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12526338, 8 years agoAdd-On told me to login. I logged in. Now it says 'Login in progress'. Tried it a couple of times, let it open for ~20 minutes, login still in progress.
Worth the wait of over a year. - Rated 4 out of 5by jboland1010, 8 years agoThis version works well now, after a bumpy start. Two inconveniences: (1) if FF is closed and reopened, the vault must also be reopened and (2) it is not possible to edit vault entries from inside FF. The latter problem can be addressed by opening the vault from inside the Norton product. Then entries can be edited through that vault access.
Windows 10, FF 48.0.2 - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12515712, 8 years agoArbeitet mit der neuesten Firefox Version 48.0.2 ohne Probleme! Endlich.....
Man muss nur im "Add-on Store" unter Extras->Add-ons unten auf weitere Add-ons ansehen, klichen und dann Norton suchen. Dann das gewünschte Produkt installieren und den Anweisungen auf dem Bildschirm folgen.
Very simply - Rated 1 out of 5by tricel, 8 years agoI says my vault is locked. When I press the OPEN VAULT tab, nothing happens. No pop-up or window change. Nothing to sign into.
I just tried again after the reply below. Still not working. I can't sign out of my account and I can't log into my vault.Developer response
posted 8 years agoWe regrettably had service issues last week (29-Aug-2016 to 2-Sep-2016 timeframe) that impacted ability to access Identity Safe Vaults.
Those services are now available and you should be able to access your Vault now. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12512457, 8 years agoTotally fails to function on my pc-latest up to date Win 10 Anniversary and FF48.0.2

- Rated 3 out of 5by blkadder, 8 years agoI installed the extension, and after doing a FF refresh, the vault allows me to log in, when I go to a site, the login information pops up. I know this will get better as they (Norton) gets things working again
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 12495681, 8 years agoI see now its a prerelease. since being installed it gives the pop-up notice to sign in to use auto fill on the sites it recognizes I have stored passwords on. But if you sign in it doesn't load. Just says verifying Password like its loading but goes no further.
Hope this helps. Windows 8.1 Firefox 48.0 - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12495405, 8 years agoDoesn't work very well. The old Norton Toolbar works much better in Google Chrome

posted 8 years agoHello - thank you for your review feedback. We uploaded an initial version of the add-on that may not function correctly. We did this to get initial Mozilla review feedback. Unfortunately the Mozilla review process requires extensions to be in a listed+visible state for the reviews to be conducted.
We will update the listing information to let you know more information on the state of the release.
