Logged-in, connected, extension says my traffic is secure, but "what's my IP" still shows my home IP address. Obviously this doesn't work and it's dangerous to mislead people by telling them they are protected when that is not the case.

Tested on macOS and Manjaro linux.

EDIT:
I've contacted support (2022-04-18) - the conclusion was that extension is in fact not working (something about Mozilla pushing and old version of extension instead of your latest release).
Regardless, there is no warning about this anywhere on your website, even when clicking on Firefox extension (in download section of the webpage).
People are being misled into thinking they're safe, when they aren't, which is a serious security issue and irresponsible on your part.

EDIT 2:
New version of extension works well.

    Works great, very convenient to have it straight in the browser. Has some unique features that the app doesn't offer either, such as the timezone spoofing which is nice.

    Hello, I still can't use my dedicated IP address; only the Windows app offers it, along with Double VPN, Obfuscated, and Onion over VPN. The threat protection features are useless—they block some legitimate and secure websites. The ad blocker is ineffective; it simply doesn't work, so I've just disabled it. Split tunneling works well, but since Prime Video and Netflix detect VPNs, claiming that you can use a VPN to watch content from abroad is false and misleading.

    Completely useless. At some point during a long session, you might get logged out or the plugin might reset, and suddenly you’re browsing with your real IP address on all open tabs. Even the “KillSwitch” feature doesn’t deliver what it promises. Which is, of course, completely unacceptable if, for example, you want to run an anonymous X account.

    I liked Nord by itself. But when I was able to connect through Firefox, I liked it even more. I can sign on or off with ease, choose the type connection I want and more. By itself there is no wonder to me why Nord is highly rated. They provide a VPN that works and is not a big brother watchdog. As long as I am online I will be with Nord. I recommend it without hesitation.
