- Rated 1 out of 5by eyeless, 4 years agoCan only see a few items saved online at 1Password, but none of my thousands of logins saved in standalone vaults at Dropbox, like I used to be able to do and without anything to fill in it is worth nothing to me. The old extension can only open links in the default browser and not in the browser where it is installed ... eh

If you have standalone vaults, you’ll want to use 1Password Classic instead: https://support.1password.com/cs/1password-classic-extension/
If you open and fill from the extension itself, it should open the website in the browser it is in and not in the default browser.

Send us an email to support+x@1password.com - Rated 1 out of 5by MeganK, 4 years agoHi there, I have been having a persistent problem with the firefox version of the browser plugin for weeks - I click on the lock icon in my top bar, or the "unlock" button that pops up when I try to enter form data, and...nothing happens. It totally hangs and I can't use the extension at all.
I notice that other users were asked to include their console data; I am pasting mine here in case that's helpful.

Thanks for reporting this and the log.
It looks like there might be a couple users from the same account trying to be added there, if you shoot us an email at support+x@1password.com so we can get you sorted.

- Rated 1 out of 5by bitnapper, 4 years agoAnfangs hat das 1Passwort-AddOn recht gut funktioniert. Leider wird es immer schlechter und schlechter. Da das Plugin nicht mehr mit der Destkop-App kommuniziert, muss man das Passwort immer zweimal eingeben und das Plugin ist nicht in der Lage Touch-ID zu nutzen. Warum 1Password sich entschieden hat immer unsicher und unkomfortabler zu gestalten ist nicht wirklich nachvollziehbar.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Jared, 4 years agoBeen a 1Password user for years. On Mac it's been great, however on Windows the recent update could use some improvements. I love that it sync with the native app now but the unlock speed on Windows is super slow for some reason. Fixing that would bring it back up to a 5 for me.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14779228, 4 years agoThe 1Password extension for Firefox has been not great for awhile. Sometimes you click the 1Pass button and the master password box might pop open. Sometimes it's a white window where you have to click a blue "Open 1Password" button, which will then have the master password box pop open. Sometimes nothing happens and I have to open the desktop app directly. It hasn't been the great, seamless experience that I remember and it feels like performance has gotten worse. Firefox is probably my biggest use of the 1Password program and the extension has felt broken/neglected for years.

You can send it to support+x@1password.com - Rated 1 out of 5by Scontoni, 4 years agoThe new update makes 1Password unusable in-browser and 95% of the time it doesn't even work (the icon shows as locked, clicking on the icon just shows an infinite 'Loading' box).
Revert to the old version and I will give 5 stars but this latest version is making me want to stop paying you hundreds of dollars and move to a better service that actually tests updates before releasing them.Developer response
