This just does not work. I gets stuck "Generating download link. pls wait..." Then does nothing more.

Impossible d'afficher le bouton de téléchargement, malgré plusieurs désinstallations/réinstallations.
Le petit bouton dans la barre de commandes tourne en rond en affichant "generating download link, pls wait..." sans jamais terminer.

The Tube keeps changing code, so it breaks this app. NOW it is working like a charm for all my video downloads :) as of 02/24/2025

Free version doesn't work at all as others have said. With the paid for "pro" version, You can set the audio codex, but it keeps downloading the for the audio codex that doesn't work.
Got the videos, can't get the audio.
Once it worked great. Doesn't anymore. Don't bother with it.

I've used this add on for quite a while and it was easily a 5 star, but now when I try to use it it says "Generating download link, pls. wait.,," and there's a flashing dot, nothing happens. I can't rate something that's not working higher than 1 star. Is there a setting I'm not aware of?

Some early teething problems with the new version, mostly on my end. Great support from the creator!

I had donated multiple times over the last few years and recently purchased the revised Windows desktop version.

The desktop version works very well and the support is excellent. There is a current problem with the auto-updating that the developer hopes to resolve.

A remaining issue is the confusion between the extension and the desktop version which is not explained. When I installed the desktop version the extension no longer worked. On this page the desktop version is not referenced I'm so not sure if this page is just out of date. In any case the cost of the desktop version is $25 and well worth it.

This addon used to be a good one. But for more than 10 months now we are waiting for an update that makes it work again. I understand that yt has made big changes and that these changes are hard to compensate. But for more than 10 months now the author says on his homepage: "An update to the addon will be pushed in a few days..."

This is no fun any more!
