About Video DownloadHelper conversion licensing

You may have noticed a sign at the corner of the videos after they have been processed by the converter. This is related to the fact the conversion feature has not been registered in the add-on.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but Video DownloadHelper needs to be funded and this is the way we have been using, along with donations, since 2008 for allowing our project to live.

The sign (it's called a watermark) is a QR code that leads to http://www.downloadhelper.net/convert.php. It used to be a logo in previous versions.

Registering the conversion provides the following advantages:

Newly converted/aggregated videos do not hold the watermark anymore
It is possible to convert to audio-only formats, including MP3
You are entitled with one year support for conversion
You help us to make a living working at maintaining and improving Video DownloadHelper

I run an IT business and have downloaded 610 Videos (Yes I'm a pirate, so sue me!)
I run Malwarebytes and AVG Business Security, have not found one piece of Malware, Crippleware at all
and the crap some people say gets added to the video???? That shit was on the video you downloaded in the 1st place arsehole(Yes, I'm English not American, they don't speak English!) ass is of the horse family not your bum! anyhoo... my videos download @ the right resolution and if the video is bad, its the source, not the SOFTWARE!

2nd edit: Hey! I'm feeling expansive! SO, got it free, then they said would you like to donate OR Write a review. WHO does that??? Do you think Microsoft would say "Hi, um.. we will give you Office365 for free if you write us a review (Good or Bad) no Wuckin Fays, They Don't give a S@#t about reviews or giving away software so, for all the whiny bitches go get some software for FREE and then complain about it elsewhere!! or try to find software you pay for , that doesn't work and try get a refund..... end of 2nd edit

So any of you people out there know about streaming tech... it's made for you to watch but not download, they do this by chopping up the video into small bite size chunks and telling the player to read the header and footer of this small chunk to make for a smooth flow, imagine if you will, a conveyor belt of data, what software like this does (VideoDownloadhelper) is to capture the flow, write it to a temporary file, stitch it back together again and save it as one file. What the player (JW etc.) and authoring software does is to try as hard as they can to STOP you copying their work, with each new version of player etc.. they make it harder, but what these guys do, who gave this software to you for WHAT? For FREE, is get ways around that anti copying software, so if you don't have praise or constructive criticism, STFU!
