For me it is a great help. I often do not have good internet access, streaming is difficult, but download works, and I can then watch/listen later. I am also on metered connection during the day, so I download when I am not on metered connection and listen later... The only thing is, I don't know when actually I am allowed to download and when not... But since I do not republish the videos, I didn't deal with this question...
