- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13149785, 7 years agoIt is an extension which I was using for a long time except for some period when youtube changed its policy or firefox upgrade. 90% of the time this worked fine and does what is promised. I recommend to those who download videos from different sites apart from youtube. However providing conversion or allowing direct download of mp3 , where ever available would make it more user friendly. There are few apps in firefox which give an opportunity to download only mp3 in a musical video.I recommend to this app that facility may be extended.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14437172, 7 years agoI love this add-on. It's very user friendly, unlike more than a few I have tried. It is useful on almost every site I've been on, and queues up the downloads when I suddenly get a hankering for a pile of videos. When changes were made to YouTube that broke most other downloaders for weeks, this one was up and running the next day. I highly reccomend it.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13064526, 7 years agoVideo DownloadHelper is fantastic for downloading all types of video from the most popular sites on the internet. As a Python Web Developer, it has help me to increase my learning by having a copy of training videos, to slow down or speed up.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14436694, 7 years agoApparently, I've downloaded 900 files using this add-on. So I feel compelled to review this with 5 stars cause it's the shit y0! Seriously though, great add-on. Can't have Firefox without it. Download anything you want even if there is no download button for it. Great "work around" add-on to have.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12738486, 7 years agoI am an ordifirefoxnary end-user of computer. I have not attended any technical training course on computer usage. And it is easy for me to download any video, allmost every video from internet into pc. İt is my standard together with Mozilla Firefox, to set up video dowload helper add-on for my personel usage for both at home and work.

- Rated 5 out of 5by potatocat, 7 years agoI've been using VDH since 2009. It has never let me down and their simple, easy to use interface makes short work of bulk downloads. The only feature requests I can think of are the ability to set custom actions, a new button that repeats entire last action (of selecting first video, selecting output type, etc) or a feature that lets you do the same task on multiple pages. I think lots of people would appreciate this if it was implemented. Anyway, a very convenient app this is. Love it to bits.
