This is hands down the BEST media downloader out there. If you are having problems, chances are others have experienced the same thing so be sure to check out the forums. It is very likely that the creator of the add-on will help you directly! Of the issues I've read on the forum, most have been related to user error or just not understanding what is really going on. As a user of computers for over 40 years, I highly recommend this very useful and safe program.

Crapola, need companion app to download anything, some sort of malware probably.

I ended up trying to update the compainion app cause I thought 'hey maybe that will allow me to download from twitter', given before it was spotty at best then just stopped working all together.

It wouldn't update, at all, cause I needed 'admin permission' despite being the admin. Okay, I'll just delete it. I couldn't, and now there's about 50 mb of data as junk files left on my computer cause I'm unable to delete said files, or even uninstall fully, cause apparently the files ffmpeg and the net download helper coapp thing are stuck on my computer cause I don't have permissions to remove them. I'm not dealing with this anymore, I'm done.

Don't use this.
