Most videos show up, but require a 'companion app' so you can't download them without installing their software that takes up more space and does who knows what for who knows what reason

Okay, review time. I’ve used Video DownloadHelper for a long time, possibly two decades. The biggest reason I’d recommend it, is really coming into play during the COVID 19 pandemic. With so many users at home streaming videos sometimes it’s better to let Video DownloadHelper (VDH) download them and watch later without buffering. Or, even if you just have a normally slow internet connection. Of course with a collection of videos on disk you’re not in such a bind while waiting in line for toilet paper! It’s on my list of projects that I am definitely going to donate to as soon as I figure out how. I actually did try to donate but the developer didn’t care for PayPal. I understood the situation but, had trouble figuring out how to get him/her some cash. One thing that I’ve learned from the pandemic is that procrastination is a habit I need to break!
